<description>"Competitive Intelligence(CI) Strategy must comply with Domestic Laws"

If competitive intelligence(CI) refers to 'data mining from customer records, databases and other sources in a particular country, then there is a need for such CI forages to comply with national privacy legal requirements.

Private data policy must be made clear whether such data collected or otherwise will be released to un-related parties or other parties for commercial purposes.

In Malaysia and Singapore, there is a need to adopt CI best practices to adhere to global CI standards if consumers' privacy is to be maintained in E-commerce.

Relevant to this, corporate social responsibility must also see to it that a CI Policy is enforced at the workplace and complied with by all stalkholders.

To take it to the next level, present protocol of CSR assessment is lacking in real value unless adopted at all levels of corporate levels within the Multinational Corporation(sMNCs) and Small and Medium Industries(SMEs) platform.
